• Deposit
Schedule: 6 Month Sites: A deposit of $575.00
will reserve your site. Deposits for
the following season must be paid by
Sept. 15. The balance
is due by April 1st, unless you opt
for the installment plan. Present
seasonal tenants may reserve their
sites between Labor Day and
September 15th. After this date
sites will be awarded on a first
come, first served basis. Under no
circumstances will there be any
refunds.
• Base Rate: Our rates are
based on a family of four (meaning
parents and dependent children
only). Names are not
interchangeable.
• Additional Family Members:
The cost for additional dependent
children is $25.00 per season.
Additional adult family members are
$75.00 each per season. All family
members are to be listed on the site
registration. There is no charge for
children under 5 years of age.
• Children: No minor children
are allowed to stay in the
campground unattended. A parent must
accompany them at all time.
• Quiet Hours: Site renters
are responsible for family members
and guests. Quiet hours are between
11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• Guests: All guests must
register and pay the guest fee in
the office prior to entering the
campground. This is the site
renter’s responsibility. If you
allow other family members or
friends to use your trailer, without
you being present, we will charge
the same rate as we would charge
someone bringing in their own
trailer. Rental of your trailer is
not allowed.
• Car Passes: Two car passes
are issued per site. There is no
charge for the first and $50.00 for
the second (per season). Additional
passes may be purchased for $100.00. Car passes are
non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Parking: If space permits,
2 cars may be parked at each site.
Otherwise, in order to prevent
crowding yourselves or your
neighbors, please use the designated
parking areas for extra cars and
boats.
• Other Vehicles: No
unlicensed or uninsured vehicles
(including mopeds) are permitted in
the campground.
• Landscaping: Positively no
defacing of trees (including driving
nails, screws, etc.). Before
landscaping or planting, please come
in to office so we can advise you of
boundaries and underground utilities
that you would need to be aware of.
• Cleanliness: All sites must
be kept clean and orderly by
management standards. Leaves should
be bagged and brush stacked at the
front of your site to be picked up
by campground maintenance. At the
start of the season, our vacuum
truck will pick up leaves. You will
be further advised at the start of
the season. Do not put leaves or
brush in dumpsters.
• Sewer Connection: All
trailers must have a sewer ring as
required by Board of Health.
• Sheds: Sheds are allowed
but they must be aluminum or wood,
and no larger than 6'x8'. Location
of shed on your site must be
approved by the campground to insure
that you are not encroaching on a
neighbor’s site. Only ONE shed
allowed on site.
• Additions: Any building or
additions (such as addition or
extension of deck, aluminum roofs,
etc.) must receive prior management
approval. No new wooden screen rooms
are allowed. No fences are to be
installed. NO rooms or decks are
permitted on any travel trailer.
• Outside Contractors: To
have an outside contractor do work
in Driftwood Camping Resort, you
must have prior management approval
and must produce a certificate of
insurance issued to Driftwood prior
to doing work in the campground.
• Trailer Sales: There will
be no on-site sale or transfer of
any trailer without prior management
approval. There is a $2,500.00 fee
for the transfer of your trailer and
you must have office approval.
• Prohibited Appliances:
Washers, dryers and dishwashers are
not permitted.
• Cable Service: Cable
service must be obtained through the
campground. No satellite dishes or
other cable service is permitted.
• Insurance: It is the
trailer owner’s responsibility to
have his or her own insurance
coverage for property damage and
liability. Driftwood is not
responsible for loss of any kind.
• Electric Deposit: A $300.00
electric deposit is required for all
new seasonals. At the end of the
season, your electric is billed and
due. The electric deposit is
returned to you on your final
departure from Driftwood (when you
decide not to renew the rental of
your campsite), less any expenses.
• Winter Storage: Your
trailer is stored on the site during
the closed season. The trailer owner
assumes all risk.
• Open Season: The campground
will be open from April 5 - October
13, 2008 for full season seasonal
camping, and from March 1 - November
30, 2008 for extended season
seasonal camping.
• Closed Season: Full season
renters may drive to their sites
during the period of April 1 - April
5, 2008. There will be no electric
on at this time. No overnight stays
are allowed. You will be allowed to
drive to your site until October 25,
2008. We will be vacuuming leaves at
this time, so you may rake to the
front of your site and they will be
picked up. If the gate is down, you
must stop in the office for access.
After October 10, 2008, the office
will be closed on Sundays. During
the closed season, no one is
permitted to drive into the
campground. You may check on your
site, but you must park your vehicle
and walk in. There are no
exceptions. |
